Quick answer: No. There is no way to pause, hide, or deactivate a Jdate account. An account is either active or deleted.
- Want a break? Turn off your notifications and stop logging in — your profile stays as it is.
- Want to leave for good? You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is permanent.
- Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — turn off automatic renewal first.
Can I hide my profile?
No. Jdate does not have a pause, hide, deactivate, or “invisible” setting. There is no way to hide yourself from other members while keeping your account.
Can I hide my online status?
No. There is no setting to appear offline or to hide when you were last active. Other members may see that you are online or recently active while you are using the app. If you would rather not show as active, the only option is to stop logging in.
If you want a break without leaving
- Turn off your notifications so we stop emailing you and sending push alerts. See How do I manage my notification settings?.
- Stop logging in. Your profile stays as it is, and you can pick up where you left off whenever you come back.
If you want to leave permanently

- Deleting is permanent. Your profile, matches, and messages cannot be restored.
