Ready to reach out to someone special? There are a few easy ways to make a connection on Jdate.
Show interest
Tap or click the Like (heart) icon on a member's profile to let them know you're interested. If they Like you back, you'll create a match — and you can start messaging each other.
Start a conversation
Once you've matched, send a message to say hello. You can also send an Intro Message — a short note (up to 400 characters) that goes along with your Like, so you can introduce yourself before the other person decides to Like you back. A personal note that mentions something from their profile is a wonderful way to spark a conversation.
