How Do I Verify My Profile?

Can I skip Profile Verification?

Yes. If you’re not ready to verify right now, you can skip Profile Verification and complete it later from your account settings. To skip, click or tap “Not now”, then “Skip for now.”

 

How to start Profile Verification

When you’re ready, log in to your account. You’ll see a “Get verified” pop-up window that allows you to begin the verification process.

If you’ve already skipped verification, you can start it anytime by navigating to My Profile and selecting “Verify profile.”

 

Verification steps

  • In the “Get verified” pop-up window, click or tap “Continue.”

  • Review the tips and click or tap “Continue” again.

  • You’ll be taken to the “How it works” screen, where you can also access the Privacy Policy.

  • Your device’s front camera will automatically open so you can take a selfie.

  • If your device doesn’t have a camera, you’ll be shown the “Continue on another device” option.

  • You can either scan the QR code using your phone’s camera or select “Send email” to receive a secure link to switch devices.
    No app download is required.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions, turn your head as directed, and tap “Take photo.”

  • Once the process is complete and verification is successful, you’ll see a “Congrats! You’re verified!” confirmation.

  • Tap “Done” to return to your profile.

 

Verification status and badge

After successful verification, a blue shield-shaped badge with a white checkmark will appear next to your name under your profile photo.

If the verification process is interrupted or unsuccessful, the badge will appear greyed out. In this case, simply restart the process by tapping the badge or going to My Profile > Verify profile.
